Joe Pelletier is President of Finition Mspecs, a metal finishing company that offers a variety of plating and painting services to the telecommunications, military, commercial, transport, medical and aerospace industries.

Having finished his education with certificate in management, Joe started his career in 1983 with a position as mechanical draftsman in the telecommunications industry. He then assumed responsibilities in purchasing and production within the same company. In 1990, he moved to the sheet metal/machining industry where he started his career as a Quality Assurance Manager and was promoted to Production Manager and then VP Operations. During this time, he acquired in-depth knowledge and experience working in sheet metal, machining and assembly. Joe then spent two years as Quality Assurance Manager and General Manager in the ferrous and non-ferrous metal casting industry. In 2007, Joe assumed the position of Production Manager and later VP Operations for a metal finishing company.

Through his 30+ years career, Joe touched on every aspect of sheet metal manufacturing, machining, casting and production finishing including:  liquid paint, powder paint, zinc plating, electroless nickel, anodizing, passivation, silver plating and chem film also known as alodine or iridite.  He has used his strong technical background to assist numerous companies in the past to determine which finish and material is best suited for their finished products.

Joe has vast experience with ROHS and Reach compliant. Additionally, he is approved by Public Works Canada as a Designated Official for the Controlled Goods Program.

In 2017, Joe was presented with the opportunity to purchase an existing plating shop that had been in business for 9 years. He took on the challenge to help the company grow to the next level where quality and customer service are #1 with each and every employee.
